what an impressive painting is this, a frozen moment in time captured perfectly by your talented fingers, I would love to use your picture as a prompt for my poetry contest, of course I will credit the painting to you and add the link of course. Please say yes
The detail of this piece is incredible. You've obviously done your research with the period costumes. I'm impressed by all the subtle layers and textures of the fabrics of people's garments, as well as the light refraction from the train and how it would reflect off of many different surfaces (smoke, fabric, carpetbag, glass, fur, skin). The entire piece has a soft look with the edges slightly blurred that gives it more of that 'surreal' quality. The colour choice is excellent--not too bright lots of blues and yellows, and that burgundy dress of the main female really stands out.
The pose of the two lovers is fantastic--that hand clasp and the way her neck is turned. That one hair out of place... bravo!
You've really caught a moment here--all the characters seem to be frozen in mid-motion rather than posed for a picture. Wonderfully expressed.
I love your picture! This is so romantic and passionate, it's stunning! They are so beautiful! It makes me feel calm and happy when I look at it. The atmosphere also reminds me of the movie "Anna Karenina", did you see it? I think you could like it
Kind of reminds me of Anna Karenina. That dress reminds me of the first Kiera Knightly wore in the newest movie. And of course...her last train. I am so endlessly in love with your treatment of the media though and the storytelling power of your designs and treatment of light. I hope you can show more over time.
